5 Uses For Lemons
Use them for a morning tonic. A glass of warm water in the morning with a squeeze of lemon juice promotes healthy digestion.
Make a salad dressing. Lemon juice makes a great salad dressing. Mix it with a bit of olive oil and cracked pepper for one of the simplest and zestiest dressings around.
Treat your dandruff. The acidity of lemon juice has a pH balancing effect on your scalp. Plus it makes your hair shiny.
Feed your skin. Lemon juice is a natural healing agent. Squeeze it onto a cotton wool ball and apply topically to treat sores and blemishes. Or mix with a little sugar and olive oil for a natural exfoliating agent.
Make lemonade. Ok, this one was a given, but lemon juice provides antibacterial, antiviral and immune-enhancing properties.
