Easy Peasy Smoothie Bowl Recipe


This smoothie bowl recipe is designed to give you a healthy dose of protein, vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids to enable you to kickstart and power through your morning. Nutritious and delicious, just the way we like it.


1 teaspoon organic spiralina for protein

1 frozen or raw banana for prebiotic gut health

2 tablespoons unsweetened, natural yoghurt for probiotic gut health

Handful of ice cubes to cool down in the summer heat

Handful of leafy greens such as spinach leaves for Vitamin A (think healthy skin, hair and nails) and iron for energy

Half an avocado for protein, essentials fatty acids to balance blood sugar levels and B vitamins – all of which will sustain you with the energy to keep going through your morning.


Blend all the ingredients together and pour into a bowl. Top with a handful of raw nuts for extra protein, Vitamin A (almonds) Omega 3 (walnuts) and Selenium (Brazil nuts). Serve with fresh berries for an antioxidant boost.
